Hurry to GardenMama

Well the season is reving up...and inside, I often feel like I want to slow down, with the change in weather.....drinking a little more tea....

I guess it is a good thing to have quality clothes for the dolls...sometimes I think our dolls are better dressed than the children - as handmade items are not always planned out well and end up fitting the dolls better!

    This is slightly random, but I saw your post about homemade natural cleaners, and I was wondering if you also knew a recipe for natural laundry soap?
    I am living at a hostle in South Africa and we are trying to live as ecofriendly as possible, but a good and inexpensive ecofriendly laundry detergent is one of the few things we have been unable to find.
    Your blog is amazing by the way! I read it all the time.

  2. Hey Nancy! Thanks so much - well that is an area of continual research myself. Soap Nuts are the best for enviro friendly, but I have found that they do not clean the best in the regular washer....I do have a few recipes, perhaps I can post them soon....for now most recipes are a mix of borax, washing soda, and grated pure soap (probably equalish amounts).
